StadtBauKultur NRW
StadtBauKultur NRW is part of the state initiative StadtBauKultur NRW 2020, a partnership initiative of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, professional associations and institutions from the fields of architecture, engineering, interior architecture, landscape architecture, research, housing, retail, art, and others.
StadtBauKultur NRW is committed to a livable, sustainable, and well-designed built environment in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is concerned with raising the citizens, contractors, professionals, and local communities’ awareness of and engagement in the culture of building, as well as with promoting quality and innovation in the built practice. StadtBauKultur NRW is a laboratory in which new ideas can be developed and tested for current architectural tasks.
StadtBauKultur NRW works on an operative level by initiating, developing and conduction in their own projects; by participating in cooperative projects; and by supporting foreign projects. In addition, StadtBauKultur NRW is communicative by realizing public events, publications, and other publicity promoting formats.
Among others subjects, StadtBauKultur NRW focusses on projects concerning the architecture of 1950s to 1970s.
