To celebrate the successful outdoor swimming season and the fantastic summer of 2019, the Grugabad friends and the Grugabad team invite you to "swim" in the Essen Grugabad on the last day of the season. On Sunday, 29 September 2019, from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., the celebration will take place at the sports pool - as a thank-you to the bathers for the great commitment of the Grugabad team in this hot summer. The highlight of this evening will be the "Last Wave 2019": The last wave machine will start punctually at 7 p.m., which this summer once again provided a Caribbean feeling in the middle of the Ruhr area several times a day. All Grugabad fans are invited to drift into the 25 degree warm floods of the wave pool for the final photo of the season and say goodbye to the summer together.

Up to and including Sunday, 29 September 2019, the only outdoor pool among the Big Beautiful Builidngs will continue to be open for swimming from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

For October there will also be dog swimming on Sunday, 6 October 2019 and art bathing: Piazza del Unico on Sunday 13 October 2019.
