Stories about BBB in New Belgrade
This project will provide an overview to the controversies behind some of the most important BBB in New Belgrade. New Belgrade has been developed as a modernist city from the scratch to become a hometown of a new Yugoslavian society that was gaining toward bright future. Buildings that will be presented are today the landmark of the city: Feder-al Executive Council (today Palace Srbija) 1947-62, The Building of Social and Political Organisations (Central Committee building), (today Shopping Center Usce) 1959-64, Museum of Contemporary Art 1959-65, Genex Tower 1975-77, Sava Center 1976-77. Their stories may open discussions on the representation in modern architecture and its communication with citizens.
